D. M. LeBlanc is a creative with a background in fine art, illustration, visual development, art education, gallery management, art direction and R&D. His former employer was Hasbro Toys, where he worked on the Future of Play Team, encouraging cross-department collaboration and pitching blue-sky concepts to senior executives. Upon returning to the Capital Region, he began to write, has been developing a painting portfolio and founded the costumed figure club Collar City Coterie. The novel series he is working on spans the satire, horror, historical, metaphysical and illusionist genres. As a natural night owl, his schedule is primarily nocturnal.
